Our History
A 12th CENTURY PRIORY
From the Middle Ages, around the 12th century, Chalaisian monks from Laverq founded several buildings on this site, including a priory, a church and a presbytery.
Le Prieuré was historically linked to Benedictine and Chalaisian institutions, notably with the abbey of Saint-Dalmas-le-Selvage, and served to structure local religious life.
Over the centuries, the site has been transformed: the religious complex has given way to reception facilities and accommodation, while retaining the stone architecture typical of the region.
